Cronos Debe Morir is a skatepunk band from Santiago de Chile, formed in October 2016, with punk rock and hard core punk influences. The band is composed by former members of Capitán Morgan, Nada Nuevo, Mustang and Conxetukore.
Biography[]
Cronos Debe Morir (sometime only called Cronos) is a quartet, founded by Felipe Cartes (former Conxetukore), Luis Encina (former Mustang), Cesar Espinoza (former Nada Nuevo) and Alvaro Morgan (former Capitán Morgan).
With this line up, Cronos recorded his first EP in 2018, titled Despertar. This record had a very positive response in the chilean scene, standing the band as one of the most important bands in the skatepunk circuit in Latin America. A few months later, his bass player Alvaro left the band, being replaced by Diego Quintana.
In 2019, Cronos recorded Síndrome Escafandra, their second EP, fast and powerful, just as Despertar, accompanied by an euro tour, visiting countries as United Kingdom, Scotland, Italy, Germany and Slovenia, where they performed at Punk Rock Holiday 1.9.
