Shirley D. Pressed is a punk rock band from Hamburg, Germany playing fast melodycore.
Biography[]
Originally already formed in 2007 by Mario on vocals/guitar and Dennis on Drums, the band played shows for No Use For A Name, Only Crime and Streetlight Manifesto but then scrapped the recordings for a first demo album and went on hiatus.
The band returned with Tobi on bass and Fabi on guitar/vocals 2 years later in 2012. Ever since its reformation Shirley D. Pressed has played local support shows for international acts and recorded a first proper self entitled Demo EP containing 7 songs in 2014. In late 2014, Fabi left the band to be replaced by Matze on guitar, with Tobi taking over some vocal duties.
Throughout 2016 the band - along with new lead guitarist Phil - finished writing for their debut album Rust which was recorded in early 2017 and released in July. The band has signed with Canadian independent label Thousand Islands Records to distribute and promote the album online.
