Biography[]

Shot Memory is a melodic hardcore/pop punk/skate punk band from Minneapolis, MN. The play fast, melodic punk rock influenced by the mid-90's-mid-00's bands such as Lagwagon, No Use For A Name, Pulley, Much The Same, A Wilhelm Scream, and Belvedere. Front man Patrick Barrows (vocals, guitar, songwriting,) formed the band in 2008 with high school buddies Alex Sederberg (drums) and Woody Stauffer (bass.) They spent a year playing shows around the Minneapolis area extensively before recording and releasing their first EP titled Nostalgic. They went on to support their release by playing more local shows and opening for influential acts such as 88 Fingers Louie, A Wilhelm Scream, The Sidekicks, and Tigers Jaw.

In January, 2010, Alex and Woody left Shot Memory. Nate Miller picked up the drum position, but the band was on hiatus for a few months while trying to find a new bassist and practicing their material. Eventually, Mike Ramirez joined the band as new bassist and Shot memory is now polishing themselves up and getting ready to play shows again and record new material in the near future.
